Came in with 100th FA Rocket Batallion which became 4th Missile. Date was early 1958.Unit was at A-23 for a few months. We opened (or reopened) what was then K 47.No water except what was trucked in.Food was road kill or dead ROK troops. Present at dedication to Col. Page in June or July. I was part of the aviation unit.We had H19's L20's L19's and H13's in the unit.Lost one chopper and 2 lives in Seoul due to our maintenance officer attempting to land in fog.

Chunchon was a village that you could spit across. Slept in a ditch outside the gate many nights because it was too drunk out to try walking through it. :!beer:

I was with H&S Battery, Radio Section, 1/42 Artillery, from 2/69 to 3/70. Radio Teletype Team Chief. Great memories, great friends. Mike Hicks,
Jerry Cash, etc. Mike Kempski went to the 226. Took Katusas to Camp St. Barbara for wireman school. Just found all my slides from that period. Will share if anyone is interested.

I was stationed at Camp Page Aug. '69 to Sept '70. Initially commanded B Battery 4th Missile Command. Then had a stint in Wonju, TDY with KMAG,as the Liaison Officer between the 4th Missile Command and FROKA. Then back to Page working with the S-3. I was pretty much of a "village rat" since I got to live off post part of my time there. A lot of great memories. I've got some pictures from when I was there. If interested, let me know.

I was stationed at Camp Page from July 1961 to August 1962. I was with the Mobile Repair Team #14 from the 4th Signal Battalion, and attached to the 226th Sig. Co. There were only about 6 members in our team and we repaired a lot of radio and communications equip. from the overload of the 226th Sig. Co. Lot of memories from that place. I was originally from PA, but now reside in CT

I was at Camp Page from late 1970 thru December of 1971. I appear in the 1970 yearbook as part of the Aviation Section. I would be especially interested in hearing from a KATUSA Sgt. Lee. Wan Kyoo.
I was a SP5 back then, and my current address is
11314 E. County Road 200 S., Crothersville, IN 47229
